Hare lehsun aur mirch ka aachar

Hare lehsun aur mirch ka aachar is spicy mixed pickle made from green garlic and green chillies.


  • 1 kilogram cup green garlic, cleaned and chopped. Separate green leaves and stems
  • 50 grams ginger, chopped
  • 15 green chillies
  • 2 teaspoons fennel
  • 4 teaspoons coriander seed
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon hing
  • Salt
  • 1 cup Vinegar / Circa


  1. Grind green chillies along with garlic stems.
  2. Mix this paste with garlic greens.
  3. Add all spices and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add vinegar and mix well.
  5. Store in airtight container with additional vinegar.
  6. Place in sunlight for 1-2 days.
  7. Serve hare lehsun aur mirchi ka achar as side dish.
