Yogurt based dessert popularly eaten with pooris

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Yogurt Chakka / yogurt solids
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 1 pinch cardamon powder
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons almond, rasins, pistachio, chopped

Instructions

  1. Beat yogurt solids/chakka well.
  2. Add milk soaked saffron, sugar, cardamom, saffron and nuts.
  3. Mix well till sugar is dissolved.
  4. Serve chilled shrikhand along with puri.
