Sweet, crunchy deep fried, whole wheat flour biscuits


  • 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • Salt


  1. Knead flour with sugar dissolved in milk, oil, milk and cardamom powder into stiff dough.
  2. Roll into flat bread. Cut into diamond shapes.
  3. Deep fry till dark brown and crispy. Store Shankarpali in airtight container.
