A breakfast pancake recipe from buckwheat flour, traditionally used by Monpa tribe and served with butter tea made of Yak milk.


  • 1 cup Buckwheat flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter / ghee


  1. Make thick batter by mixing flour with water. Rest it for half hour.
  2. On hot tawa, spread spoonful of batter into flat dosa shape. Grease with butter if required. Cook on both sides.
  3. Serve Khura hot along with butter tea.
