Bungandmo Khapse

Ethnic food of Monpa tribe from Arunachal Pradesh made from Amaranth flour


  • 1 cup bundangmo / Amaranth / Rajgira Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • ajwain seeds
  • Oil


  1. Dry roast bundangmo. Grind into flour.
  2. Knead flour with salt, ajwain seeds and water into dough.
  3. Make long rolls and make ring or 8 shaped khapse. Deep fry till crispy.
  4. Store Bungandmo Khapse in airtight container.
