Bread made traditionally on Ladakhi New Year (Losar)


  • Wheat flour
  • Sheep fat / butter
  • Pul / Soda


  1. Making dough of flour and sheep fat
  2. Given shape of an ibex horn
  3. Then baked on charcoal
  4. While consuming, it is broken and the bread long with the fat is heated in bowl and mixed together
