Madakku Pola

Coconut filled folded crepes


  • 1 1/2 cups Wheat flour
  • Sugar as needed
  • Grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee


  1. Combine wheat flour, salt and water to form a thick batter.
  2. Heat a pan and pour a ladleful of batter on it. Spread it into a circle using the ladle.
  3. Cook both sides. Apply ghee while cooking.
  4. Combine coconut and sugar, place it at the centre of each crepe and fold.
  5. Serve Madakku pola with tea.
