Khoya Matar Makhana
Peas cooked in spicy curry with khoya / dried milk and makhana.

Ingredients
- 1 cup makhana
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1 cup Khoya / Mava
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Instructions
- Roast makhana till crisp. Keep aside.
- Heat oil. Splutter cumin seeds.
- Add onion and green chillies. Cook till onions are cooked.
- Add tomato puree and stir. Cool till oil separates.
- Add Peas and Khoya. Mix well.
- Add spices and salt. Adjust consistency with water. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes till peas are cooked.
- Add makhana and mix well.
- Serve Khoya matar makhana with roti / rice.
