Makhana Namkeen

Spice and jaggery coated fox nut / makhana as tea time snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon amchur
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery powder

Instructions

  1. Roast Makhana till crisp.
  2. Heat ghee. Melt jaggery powder.
  3. Mix all spice powders. Add to melted jaggery.
  4. Cook for 2 mintues
  5. Stop heating and add roasted makhana. Mix so that all makhanas are coated.
  6. Allow to cool. Serve makhana namkeen.
