Spicy chutney made with onion and red chilly powder
- 1 small Onion, finely sliced
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Red chilly powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Vinegar
- Few Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add curry leaves, onion and salt. Saute until onion turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat and add chilly powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and hot water. Mix well.
- Serve Mulaku chammanthi with dosa/idli
