Ringan na palita

Grilled spicy eggplant rings. It is also known as Baingan Katri.


  • 1 Brinjal (eggplant), sliced
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, ginger, red chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander powder (dhaniya)
  • Salt


  1. Mix spices with oil and salt.
  2. Marinate brinjal slices with spice paste.
  3. Pan fry slices on both sides till eggplant is tender.
  4. Serve Ringan na palita with roti.
