Rajgira Ladoo

Rajgira ladoo is a healthy and delicious snack that is very easy to make. Packed with calcium and protein, rajgira ladoo is a great way to include the nutritious rajgira grain in your kid’s diet.


  • 1 cup rajgira seeds
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 2 -3 tsp ghee
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 2 teaspoons cashew


  1. Roast rajgira seeds in a heavy vessel until they pop up. Discard those seeds that do not pop.
  2. Heat jaggery with half tablespoon of water. Once the jaggery syrup starts boiling, pour it over the roasted rajgira seeds and mix well.
  3. With moist and greased palms, take t a small portion of the mixture and roll into desired balls.
  4. Store rajgira laddus in an airtight container.
