Chaak – Hao Tann

Pancakes made with black rice.


  • 100 grams Black rice, soaked overnight
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • Coconut oil for frying


  1. Grind rice with sugar to form a smooth batter.
  2. Add flour to batter and knead a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll out circular discs.
  4. Heat a pan and smear coconut oil.
  5. Cook the pancakes on both sides until done.
  6. Serve Chaak-Hao Tann warm.
