Surati Bhakhri

This is recipe of flat bread made from wheat flour, jowar flour and bajra flour in a Surati way.



  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup Jowar Flour
  • 1/3 cup Bajra Flour
  • 1/3 cup Water or as required
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil


  1. Mix flour with oil, salt and little water. Knead into soft dough.
  2. On rolling board, pat a piece of dough into round shape.
  3. Bake over tawa till brown on both sides. Apply little oil while cooking.
  4. Serve bhakri hot with a cup of tea or with sabji or pickles.
