Bhavri ka namak

Basil flavoured salt made in himachal

Bhavri ka namak is used in various dishes from himachal to add distinct flavor of basil. It is also used as fruit salad.


  • 1 cup of fresh basil leaves / bhavri ke patte
  • 1/2 cup salt


  1. Grind basil and salt together.
  2. Dry roast or bake this salt to increase the shelf life.
  3. Store in a sealed container.
