Nadia Chithau Pitha

Pancakes made from Coconut and rice served along with spiced tomato dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice, soaked for 2 hrs.
  • 2 cups coconut, freshly grated
  • salt to taste
  • oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Grind soaked rice along with coconut to fine batter. Allow to rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat tawa. Grease with oil. Spread spoonful of batter into flat bread. Bake till pitha is cooked. Do not flip.
  3. Serve Nadia Chithau Pitha hot with tomato khatta/Tomato Chutney
