Rice cakes steamed in Lairu leaf

- 1 cup Guria Rice / Mami rice / rice with sticky variety, soaked for 5 hours
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- cashew nuts
- raisins, soaked
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Lairu Leaves / Banana leaves
- Roast cashew nuts in ghee. Keep aside.
- Drain rice. mix with ghee, cashew, rasins and salt.
- Make cones of banana leaves. Fill with mixture and tie with leaf strand. Steam for 1 -1.5 hrs.
- Serve Veg Bangwi hot.
