Chira Aru Mohor Doi Jalpaan

‘Chira Aru Mohor Doi Jalpaan’ is one of the Sweet Recipes of Assam. This Assamese dessert especially eaten during Bihu days.


  • Chira or Flattered rice {Chira made with ‘Malbhog rice’}
  • Yogurt or Mohor Doi
  • Jaggery or Gur


  1. Soak the Chira’s into water until it becomes softer {Usually it takes 10
  2. to 15 munities}
  3. Now, take it out from the water and have to Mohor Doi and Gur.
