Laisak

Laisak is simple recipe made from locally available leaves of mustard leaves in Arunachal Pradesh.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Laisak / gayang huu / Chinese mustard leaves, chopped
  • 1 piece ginger, inch long, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 green chillies, slit half
  • 2 teaspoons Oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried bamboo shoots
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients. Add little water.
  2. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Adjust consistency with water and taste with salt / pepper powder.
  4. Serve Laisak with steamed rice.
