Kath Alu Pitika is a tasty Assamese dish prepared by mashing yam with spring onion and spinach.
- 1 cup Kath Alu/Yam, boiled
- 1 cup Spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup Spring onion
- 4 Garlic, crushed
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Mustard oil
- Combine spinach, spring onion, garlic, salt and mustard oil.
- Mash the mixture with your fingers.
- Serve Kath Alu Pitika with hot rice.
