Roasted barley flour used in many tibetian recipes
- Hulled barley
- Wash hulled barley with water and later with hot water.
- Allow barley to dry.
- Dry roast barley till it is puffed. This is called Yoe. Yoe can be eaten raw as snack.
- Grind Yoe to obtain Tsampa flour. Store Tsampa in airtight container.
