Traditional sweet made with freshly grated coconut and jaggery


  • 1 cup Fresh Coconut, grated
  • 1 cup Vellam/ Jaggery, grated
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 10 Cashews


  1. Blend grated coconut and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, melt grated jiggery with water.
  3. Add ground coconut and continuously stir till it gets to a dough like consistency.
  4. Add cardamom powder, ghee and cashew. Mix well for 2 to 3 minutes.
