Karotkhabi Kanghou

Vegetable side dish with unique combination of bittergourd and potato


  • 2 Bitter Gourd, medium sized
  • 2 Potato, medium sized
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Green Chilly
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilly Powder
  • 1 pinch, Turmeric powder
  • Salt-to taste


  1. Heat oil. Splutter cumin seeds and green chillies. Add onion and saute till tender.
  2. Add vegetables, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Stir fry. Cover and cook till vegetables are done.
  4. Serve Karotkhabi Kanghou hot with rice
