Fried flat bread served as snack


  • 1 cup Rice, soaked overnight
  • 1 cup Channa dal, soaked overnight
  • 1 Ginger, half inch piece
  • 2 Green Chilly
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil-For Deep Frying


  1. Grind rice and dal along with ginger, green chilly, cumin, salt and turmeric powder into smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil. Once hot, pour tablespoon of batter into hot oil as it takes circular shape. Deep fry till golden on all sides.
  3. Serve Dhuska hot with chutney.
