Bajra Rotla

Traditional Gujarati flat-bread made from black millet or bajra. Often served with Baigan Bharta – “ringan nu bharthu & bajra no rotlo”.


  • 2 cups Bajra flour
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt


  1. Knead bajra flour with salt and ghee into smooth dough.
  2. Taking small piece, on flat surface pat dough in circular shape with palm.
  3. Bake on hot tava on both sides. Grill.
  4. Grease with ghee. Serve bajara na rotla hot with sabji.
