Tomul Chhot

Tomul Chhot is an easy to make Kashmiri snack prepared with rice flour and carom seeds. It is a great accompaniment to evening tea.


  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • Salt and carom seeds as per taste
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 green chilli


  1. Mix salt, carom seeds, green chillies and ghee in flour.
  2. Knead the flour with hot water to soft dough.
  3. Taking a piece of dough, flatten into round shape by hand.
  4. Bake on hot tawa on both sides.
  5. Apply ghee and enjoy Tomul chott as a tea-time snack.
