Goli Baje

Hot lentil fritters served as side dish


  • 1 cup All purpose flour / Maida
  • 2 tablespoons Besan / gram flour
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt, thick
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, chopped
  • 3 green chilli, chopped finely
  • Sugar, adjust according to taste
  • Curry leaves, few
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt


  1. Mix maida, besan, baking soda, salt, sugar, yogurt, ginger, curry leaves, and green chillies. Mix well. Allow to rest.
  2. Deep fry spoonful of batter in hot oil till evenly cooked.
  3. Serve Goli Baje hot with chutney.
