Begun Bhaja

Grilled eggplant recipes made in Bengali style

Ingredients

  • 1 Brinjal, large, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Turmeric
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix turmeric and salt in oil. Marinate brinjal with this mixture. Keep it for 5 minutes.
  2. With little oil, pan fry slices in batches till brown on each side and cooked from inside.
  3. Serve Begun Bhaja with chutney.
