Atta halwa

Quick pudding made from wheat flour


  • 1 cup atta /whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup ghee / clarified butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk


  1. Ghee roast atta till golden brown. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a cup of water and sugar till sugar dissolves.
  3. Add roasted atta to sugar syrup and stir to avoid lumping.
  4. Add milk and continue stirring. Cook till flour is cooked and fluffy.
  5. Serve atta halwa hot.
