Akakarakaya Vepudu

Kantola stir fried with spices


  • 250 grams Kantola / Akakarakaya, washed, edged and sliced
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 2 Red chillies
  • 3/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Oil


  1. Heat oil. Fry curry leaves, red chillies and kantola slices.
  2. Stir fry until kantola changes color and slight crispy.
  3. Add red chili powder and salt. Mix well.
  4. Serve Akakarakaya Vepudu hot with rice.
