Gothambu Kanji

Porridge made with broken wheat

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Broken wheat, soaked for 2 hours
  • 1/2 cup Thick coconut milk
  • 1/8 cup Coconut, grated
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook broken wheat along with water for 3 whistles.
  2. Once cooked, mash it slightly and add water, coconut milk, grated coconut and salt. Mix well and bring to boil.
  3. Serve Gothambu kanji hot!
