Black sesame seeds candied in sugarcane juice. Kangsubi or thoiding/sesame kabok is made from sugarcane molasses and puffed sesame seeds.


  • 1 1/2 litres Sugarcane juice
  • 300 grams Black sesame seeds, toasted


  1. Boil sugarcane juice until it becomes molasses.
  2. Turn off the stove and add sesame seeds. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into squares while it is still hot.
  4. Enjoy Kangsubi as a snack.
