Rava ladoo

Dessert from roasted semolina, coconut and nuts


  • 1 1/4 cups rava / semolina
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 1/4 cup coconut (optional)
  • 3 green cardamoms / elaichi
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • raisins and cashew nuts as needed


  1. Roast rava and coconut seperately. Keep aside.
  2. Powder sugar along with cardamoms.
  3. Add rava and powder together.
  4. Roast nuts and rasins in gheet.
  5. Blend all mixture. Add ghee and mix.
  6. Take small portions of the mix and roll to balls to Rava ladoo.
