Neemki is an easy to make instant raw mango-onion pickle from Himachal Pradesh. You can serve this pickle with chapati, roti, or rice.


  • 1 Medium size Raw mango, chopped into 1" pieces
  • 1 Medium size Onion, peeled and chopped into 1" pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Methi, dry roasted and ground into a fine powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ajwain
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard oil, heated to smoking point and cooled
  • Salt to taste


  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Serve Neemki with chapati, roti, or rice
