Layered rolled bread from Kerala
- 2 cups Maida (all purpose flour)
- Salt as per taste
- Knead maida along with salt, little oil and water into soft dough. Rest for 1 hr.
- Take piece of dough, flatten and roll into circle. Grease and sprinkle flour. Make alternate stripes similar to sari plates. Roll again.
- Bake on hot tawa. Grease with oil to make it crisp.
- Serve Barota with vegetable kurma.
