Singhade ka halwa

Sweet set porridge of Water Chestnut flour


  • 150 grams Singhade ka atta / Water Chestnut flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar or more


  1. Roast singhada flour in ghee till light brown and lump free.
  2. Add hot water and sugar while stirring.
  3. Continue stirring till flour thickens. Add little water and cook for 3-4 minutes till jelly like texture.
  4. Pour the hot halwa on flat surface and spread uniformly. Allow to cool and set.
  5. Cut in desired shape. Serve Singhade ka halwa.
