Fada Lapsi

Traditional recipe made from broken wheat flour and sugar


  • 1/2 cup Ground wheat (Fada / Daliya)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom (elaichi), powdered
  • 1 tablespoon Mix dry fruits, for garnishing


  1. Roast wheat in ghee till slightly brown.
  2. Add water and sugar to mixture.
  3. Cook covered till water is absorbed and wheat is cooked.
  4. Sprinkle cardamom powder and top dry fruits.
