A tasty Assamese dish prepared with banana stem and spices.
- Banana stem, cut into small pieces
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, chopped
- Cumin seeds
- Mustard seeds
- Fenugreek seeds
- Salt to taste
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onions with garlic ,cumin seeds,mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds
- Add banana stem and fry well.
- Add little hot water and cook covered until the water evaporates.
- Serve Kol Posola hot with rice.
