Dry moong dal preparation with spices
- 1/2 cup Moong dal
- 2 teaspoons Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 Dry red chili
- 1/2 Bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Green chili paste
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- Soak moon dal for 10 minutes.
- Stir fry moon dal along with oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli, bay leaf, ginger paste and green chilli paste.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well.
- Cover cooked till mong dal is cooked.
